I am absolutely overwhelmed by this podcast. I have cried. I have felt your heart. I have seen the trust that people have given you with their most sensitive information. I can't begin to tell you how much this touched me. We all sin and we all fall short of his glory but you have a platform and are using it to really reach God's hurting children in so many ways. Thank you for the amazing music and opening your home and heart to reach others. You are doing an amazing job!

      🙏🏻 thank you

When it comes to the divorce story...thats literally what my marriage became, it got to a point I had to gather my things and get out. My marriage also became close to violent at times with her eruptions. As far as the faith side of it I gave up on leaning on "Christian" people in my life because they were just never around nor cared. Its rough but God's got a different plan for my life sooo...Sean prayers out to you and your family, thank you for your service my good sir.

You should do a southern gospel album. The musical style with country and gospel is similar.

Not knowing if you are worthy of being a country artist singing Christian music, look at St. Paul’s history. God has a history to call the imperfect to do great things in his name. That’s the only reason I am where I am now, someone connected to me in a heartfelt way. Pray over it, I hope you see this.

Your title caught my attention. It seems like everyone is going through some craziness in their marriage. I am working to dissolve mine too. Sometimes you have to look out for yourself and mental health if your mate isn't doing so.

Here's a snippet for ya Granger.... " How did I end up as a country singer that gets that kind of question?" You may not sing gospel songs.. You are a man of God. Many people lead by example and actions versus words. You have done that for the rest of us. So thank you and God bless.

  • Kapilena77

Loved this.. I am a marketing professional.. I suggest you begin to incorporate little pieces of your songs in your podcast.. Likevthis one you could have included several of your songs. Just the tag of sing and link below to download it!! You missed opportunity....

As your talking about your dad, and how you say you used to get his advice and how you used to call him any time. That you still wish you could, my first thought was Cole Swindell and his song, Dads Old Number. Sounds just like what you were just saying, that you wish you could call your dad, and that you have accidentally called his number. Thats mentioned in Cole's song.

Keeping secrets, envy, long distance, jealousy, lies and infidelities are major threats to most marriages and relationships and it is important to be smart not to trust 100% when dealing with our partners. Yes, I know the importance of trusting but that same trust can hurt you so much and don’t forget the saying that once a cheater is always a cheater. I’m glad that cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone. I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with Cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and 2 years far back deleted messages from my phone through a programmed link to a cloned app containing all cloned cell information without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I got to discover that my husband who is legally married to me here in California USA is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all deleted and recent chats on his Whatsapp, Twitter,Facebook,Instagram and Skype. You can contact this great hacker “Gavin” via Gmail (cyberhackinggenius) and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and I believe I’m saving a soul with this message just as I was saved.....

I hate to say it, but this behavior is very dangerous. Hopefully you understand that having to go through your husbands phone or even being doubtful is pointing to a lot bigger issues. I don't think its a good idea to hop straight to this for anyone that's reading (explore the legalities of it as well). Sit down and have a conversation. If you cannot trust that person you simply do not need to be in that relationship. Ask yourself why the trust is broken and what you can do to heal that. Ask God for clarity. You don't have to snoop to find the answers you already know.

I'd say a few things to Shawn. First, protect your son. Secondly, go to church without your wife. Also, love her sacrificially as Christ loved the church. Fourth, remember it's not your job to save your family. Only God can do that. Don't put yourself in the Holy Spirit,'s job. All you can do is show them the Father's Love. Lastly, find a good biblical therapist. Also, you can separate for a time without divorce.

To be honest I didn't mean to get so indepeth with it. I'm sorry if it was too much and that it was so chopped I should've been more conservative, and didn't mean to put you on the spot. I'm truly sorry but i asked because I see your values and morals and i value your opinion more than my own. I don't have many people in my life. I'm isolated 100s of miles from support. I did drop to my knees. It was and is hard to be honest to ask the questions that I truly need answers to. But thank you. Truly and honestly. GOD BLESS.

@grangersmith I really enjoyed this podcast. Being a parent & wanting to make sure you show your children the way, and give them the advice they need to grow and become resilient and confident and I love how confident you are with being a parent. As a mother I always have Mom guilt. I watch your family channel as well The Smiths. I love seeing how You & Amber we are bringing up your children. I love how involved you both are, the love and wisdom you both instill in to Lincoln & London. How they have a wonderful strong relationship with God. I love how you’ve brought them up to be so humble and I admire it all so much!

I am all in my emotions. I really appreciate all these apps and being able to stay in Contact with you all. I'm going through a nightmare right now myself. I just got diagnosed with breast cancer and I don't know what I would do without God, my study book's and The Arise, The Smith's and Your podcast. I really love the new album. Congratulations. Great podcast today. You mentioned you feel you're not qualified to answer that last question, but you are. Sometimes people just need unbiased advice from someone they trust, who hasn't felt the heartache, drama, stress of that relationship, who can give an honest opinion that isn't skewed one direction or the other. People just need a friend to say "hey, this is what I would do". THIS is how you're qualified. Just being human like everyone else. And for people to put such trust in you just shows me the following of fans you have which makes me grateful to have found your music and youtube videos. Please keep what you're doing. It's amazing and moving.

When it comes to marital problems step lightly because you don't know the other side of the story. I know from personal experience that my actions dictate the actions of my wife. If you don't fulfill your partners needs then they will resent you slowly over time and their actions will continually get worse. So if you don't like how your partner is acting or treating you then look at yourself before moving on to the next steps.

Absolutely as a parent and now a grandparent with Christian values you have to think about your vows but there are limits. As such we can love someone all the way through journey of divorce. You actually come to realize they are flawed as we all are. I actually would take it further and note that sometimes two humans that are damaged good are even more compatible. It seems you can recognize the broken in them because it mirrors YOU. But this is the big question does that other person respect you as a partner ? Do they value you or what you bring to their life ? Is there any trust issues ? Once you lose trust and most importantly Respect it’s a done deal. You can’t make someone that’s incapable of compassion and empathy come to meet you halfways. If it’s detrimental to a child then you Must leave the situation. I’m with Mr. Smith it’s painful to say this and you will feel like you are grieving a death in the family but you must cut the chord. It seems it’s your destiny Shawn to end the generational bond and change the course and ultimately your legacy for your family. We the adults have to put the kids first but if the other adult is incapable or doesn’t face reality you have to give yourself Grace, let go and LET GOD! We are not here to be martyrs but every once in a while we get gentle nudges and reminders of God’s unconditional Love for us all. He knows we are perfectly imperfect and loves us in spite of it all! That’s coming from 25 years of that and leaving to save myself and my sanity and ultimately my babies, babies the heartache of more dysfunction. Prayers for all involved. Thank you for your service as a daughter and sister of 20 year veteran we are so honored to share in your story. Si se puede! Means Yes We Can!

  • Vanessa Ruiz

@ShawnLynch thank you for your service. I am a former rape victim and I am still dealing with my PTSD from them.
